Harold De Puymorin and Pete Ross proudly present HK REFLECTED, an exhibition to explore Hong Kong as a diverse and multifaceted city.
The two artists incorporate multiple layers to dissect and reflect the city’s rich urban condition and bring to the forefront ideas of past and future, light and darkness, strength and frailty.
The visuals are rich and speak for themselves, inviting everyone to make their own interpretation. Dynamism, comfort, frustration, colour, joy, sadness ... it becomes a reflection of self.
The exhibition aims to study the city and challenge our perceptions and even our own identity. Most importantly it challenges the viewer to step into the work, to question and interpret their own views and understandings.
Simply put it invites us all to reflect

Picture This Hong Kong presents:
PATTERNS OF LIVING
For Hong Kong residents, dense high rise living and working is the standard and accepted lifestyle. The city literally rises up from the harbour and we crane our necks to look up towards the sky to the summit of our living spaces. Hong Kong is the archetypal high rise city, it defines the very concept of the skyscraper environment - this is our Pattern of Living.
For this exhibition, Picture This has invited four Hong Kong resident photographers to explore the skyscraper environment. Their interpretations are very different, but each captures and articulates the essential density of the city, allowing us a novel view of our surroundings - from Harold de Puymorin 's tilt-shift miniaturisation to Eleanor McColl's pop-art cutouts, from the precision of Stefan Irvine's strip Tong Laus to David Elliott 's metronomic grid-like warehouses. This is our eternally fascinating city, familiar yet always surprising - this is our Hong Kong.

Hong Kong has experienced much ups and downs in recent years, from celebrations to conflicts, from clarity to confusion, from questions about identity to questions about belonging.
Through it all, the city we call home is in its most raw existence… still Hong Kong.
Still Hong Kong is a cross medium exhibition, and will showcase a trio artists telling the Hong Kong story each in their own unique ways.
They also reflect the city’s increasingly diverse mix of multigenerational, heritage, and upbringing of our city's creative talents
